I'm taking part in the TCS London Marathon 2027 with #TeamStroke
Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. With strength, determination and the right support, recovery is possible.By taking on this challenge with Team Stroke, I'll be fundraising to provide tailored support to tens of thousands of stroke survivors each year, fund vital scientific research, and campaign to secure the best care and support for everyone affected by stroke.
Every donation helps someone find strength through support at a time they need it most. Thank you so much for being part of this journey with me.

Running the London Marathon for a Cause Close to My Heart
Wednesday 17th JunRunning the London Marathon is a deeply personal milestone for me. It represents not only a lifelong goal, but also an opportunity to support a cause that has had a significant impact on my life and my family.
I have chosen to run for the Stroke Association because stroke has shaped much of my family’s journey. My dad suffered a stroke when I was just five years old, and since then, the challenges of stroke recovery have been a constant part of our lives.
Over the years, I have witnessed his incredible strength, determination, and resilience. The support available through stroke recovery communities, including those connected to the Stroke Association, has played an important role along the way. Today, he serves as Chairman and Head of Committee for the Merseyside Life After Stroke group, a testament to how far he has come and his commitment to helping others affected by stroke.
Wearing the Stroke Association logo on marathon day would mean more to me than representing any other charity. It will symbolise not only my own achievement, but also everything my family has faced and overcome together.
Completing the London Marathon in support of the Stroke Association will be an incredibly meaningful achievement, while also providing an opportunity to raise vital funds and awareness for everyone affected by stroke.
If you are able to support my fundraising efforts, any donation, no matter the size, would be greatly appreciated.
Every donation, no matter the size, means a great deal to me personally and will help make a difference to those affected by stroke.
Thank you for your support.
