I'm taking part in the Brighton Marathon 2027 as part of #TeamStroke
Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. With strength, determination and the right support, recovery is possible.
By taking on this challenge with Team Stroke, I'll be fundraising to provide tailored support to tens of thousands of stroke survivors each year, fund vital scientific research, and campaign to secure the best care and support for everyone affected by stroke.
Every donation helps someone find strength through support at a time they need it most. Thank you so much for being part of this journey with me.

Why am I running for Stroke Association
Wednesday 19th Aug In May of this year, my Dad (Neil, pictured) had a stroke, we've been repeatedly told "it was quite a big one!"The months since Dad's stroke have not been easy, for him or for us. But this is why I'm running for Stroke Association! They do fantastic work to support Stroke survivors and also those that support their loved ones. Whether it be information on their website, assistance to the rehab centre or a volunteer coming in to see Dad and share his story so Dad knows he's not alone, the support on offer from the Stroke Association is second to none.
