We are taking part in the Royal Parks Half Marathon 2026 as part of #TeamStroke
Myself, my Dad and my Uncle will be running the Royal Parks Half Marathon 2026 in aid of the Stroke Association. 🏃♂️🏃♂️🏃♂️
This is a charity that means a huge amount to our family. Last year, my Grandad suffered a stroke, and the support he received from the Stroke Association has played such an important role in helping him rebuild his life and get back to doing the things he loves.
Having seen first-hand the difference their support can make, we know just how important their work is to so many other people and families affected by stroke.
There are over 1.4 million stroke survivors in the UK, with around 100,000 strokes happening every year — that’s one stroke every five minutes.
The Stroke Association supports people to rebuild their lives after stroke. They believe everyone deserves the best possible life after stroke, working alongside the stroke community to ensure people affected receive the care, support and information they need.
They also campaign for better stroke care and fund vital research into preventative and rehabilitative treatments.
We’re incredibly proud to be taking on the Royal Parks Half Marathon to raise money for such an important cause.
