I'm taking part in the Great North Run as part of #TeamStroke
I joined #TeamStroke for the Great North Run.
At the beginning of the year my grandad was taken into hospital and put into the critical care unit, not for having a stroke but for others reasons thankfully though he’s on the mend and getting better as he’s in good hands. At the same time as my grandad a friend of mines dad was put into the same unit as my grandad but unfortunately has passed away.
As this year has went on, a few more people who are close to me are going through tough times with their loved ones, so I’m doing the the great north run for everyone close to me who are going through tough times.
