The hugely popular Jurassic Coast Challenge offers a coastal path, steep hills and challenging beaches. The route will take you through the spectacular World Heritage coastline, with a start in Corfe Castle, then heading down to Swanage, and along through Lulworth Cove, past Durdle Door, with ups and downs to Weymouth at halfway.
You can choose from taking on the 100km, 75km (new for this year!), 50km, marathon, 25km or 10k route.
Your entry includes a range of free food and drink at regular rest stops and support from medics, marshals and massage teams. As you cross the finish line, you’ll get a glass of fizz, a t-shirt and a special medal to celebrate your achievement.
As we are an ‘Official Charity Partner’ for the Ultra Challenge series, sign up and commit to fundraise for us and you’ll get 25% off the standard charity place registration fee!

Frequently asked questions
Will I receive a top for my Jurassic Coast challenge?
Yes, you will be sent a Stroke Association top if you've hit your 50% fundraising target. This will arrive with you by approximately two weeks before event date.
What are the funding options?
To support the Stroke Association, you can choose from the funding options of:
- Sponsorship for Charity - pay a small registration fee and fundraise and we'll cover the rest of your place cost
- Mixed Funding for Charity - pay for half your place cost, fundraise less and we'll cover the rest of your place cost
- Own Place (Self-Funded) for Charity - pay for your place in full and fundraise whatever you can for our amazing cause
Each option varies on registration fee and fundraising target amounts depending on which distance you'd like to do. For these details check out the list in the Costs & Fundraising section.
When is the deadline to raise 50% of my fundraising target, in order to secure my charity place?
At least 50% of your sponsorship target should be with the charity by 26 April 2024 (3 weeks before the event date).
It's at this time the charity agrees to pay the fee for your place to the Ultra Challenge organisers. Failure to meet the deadline may result in cancellation of your place.
The remaining 50% of fundraising, and any extra, should be with the charity by 16 June 2024 (4 weeks after the challenge).
Can I take part as a team?
You sure can! The more the merrier on Team Stroke.
Everyone has to register individually, as Ultra Challenge organisers require personal details and declarations. Within the form you can choose to 'Create' or 'Join' a team. Teams can be of any size - members can opt for the same or different funding options or distances.
If you choose to 'Create' a team, you will become Team Captain. You will need a Team Name and a password for others to join. Then invite your friends and family to join you!
If you want to join a team already created, as you register, search for the Team Name and use the password provided by the Team Captain.
