Starting in the heart of the city, you'll be soaking up the atmosphere and music all the way to the finish in Glasgow Green, passing the Great Run's famous entertainment zones every kilometre.
Charity Place
Our 10k Charity Places cost £15 and come with a £150 minimum sponsorship target (not including Gift Aid).
Our Half Marathon Charity Places cost £25 and come with a £250 minimum sponsorship target (not including Gift Aid).
Own Place
If you have secured your own place through the Great Run website directly, we would love for you to join #TeamStroke. Those who secure their own place will have no minimum sponsorship target, but everything you do raise will help rebuild lives after stroke.

Will I receive a running vest to wear at the Great Scottish Run?
Yes, you will be sent a Stroke Association running vest. This will arrive with you approximately one month before the event.
Will you have a cheer point on the day?
We hope to be able to cheer you on on the day. We will be in touch with further information in the lead up to the event.
