Join us for 2023 as Great Manchester Run celebrates its 20th year! This spectacular running event boasts a vibrant city centre start and finish, with a Half Marathon and 10k routes taking runners out of the city, past the iconic football stadiums. You'll be soaking up the best of the Mancunian spirit as you run past the multiple music zones and buzz of supporters on the streets. With this route, you also have the chance to achieve a personal best!
Charity Place
Our 10k Charity Places cost £15 and come with a £150 minimum sponsorship target (not including Gift Aid).
Our Half Marathon Charity Places cost £25 and come with a £250 minimum sponsorship target (not including Gift Aid).
Own Place
If you have secured your own place through the Great Run website directly, we would love for you to join Team Stroke. Those who secure their own place will have no minimum sponsorship target, but everything you do raise will help rebuild lives after stroke.

Please note, if you register to join #TeamStroke after Thursday 4th May 2023 you won't receive a physical fundraising pack or running vest in the post.

Will I receive a running vest to wear at the Great Manchester Run?
Yes, you will be sent a Stroke Association running vest. This will arrive with you approximately one month before the event.
Will you have a cheer point on the day?
We hope to be able to cheer you on on the day. We will be in touch with further information in the lead up to the event.
