This event takes in the sites of the city’s world-famous Jewellery Quarter, passing the Chamberlain Clock, St Paul’s Square, the Mailbox, Grand Central at New Street station (for both 10 km and Half) and then
Cannon Hill Park and Edgbaston Stadium for the half marathon. With live music keeping you motivated every step of the way and thousands of people cheering you on, it's not one to miss.
Our 10k Charity Places cost £15 and come with a £150 minimum sponsorship target (not including Gift Aid).
Our Half Marathon Charity Places cost £25 and come with a £250 minimum sponsorship target (not including Gift Aid).
If you have secured your own place through the Great Run website directly, we would love for you to join #TeamStroke. Those who secure their own place will have no minimum sponsorship target, but everything you do raise will help rebuild lives after stroke.
Why join Team Stroke?
As part of Team Stroke, you'll get a free running vest, fundraising materials, training tips and fundraising advice as well as our fantastic one-to-one support whichever distance you choose. Please note, if you register to join #TeamStroke after Monday 24th April 2023 you won't receive a physical fundraising pack or running vest in the post.
Everyone deserves to live the best life they can after stroke. Taking part in the Great Birmingham Run means you are part of the team helping us to continue the work that we do, such as funding stroke support services and researching better treatments, care and rehabilitation.
